We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Orthopedic Rehabilitation Physical Therapist to join our team at Sierra Orthopedic Clinic, located in the vibrant community of Woodbridge, Virginia. Sierra Orthopedic Clinic is a premier orthopedic outpatient private practice committed to providing exceptional physical therapy services. Our facility spans an impressive 5,000 square feet and is equipped with the latest sports medicine technologies, ensuring our therapists have the tools they need to succeed. Our dedicated team consists of two experienced physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA), all working collaboratively to ensure positive patient outcomes. We primarily serve patients with private medical insurance, allowing us to focus on individualized care tailored to each patient's unique needs.

Work Environment

This position is 100% onsite at our facility in Woodbridge, Virginia. You will work in a dynamic and supportive environment, where teamwork and professional development are prioritized. Our regular working hours are Monday to Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm, providing a consistent schedule that promotes a healthy work-life balance. The clinic is designed to optimize patient experience and therapist functionality, featuring a spacious treatment area and specialized rehabilitation equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to accurately assess their functional limitations and rehabilitation goals.
• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that incorporate a variety of treatment modalities, including manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercises.
• Directly manage a caseload, ensuring efficient delivery of care to one patient per hour while providing high-quality individualized attention.
• Monitor treatment progress, adjusting care plans as necessary to reflect patient advancements and challenges.
• Document all patient interactions and treatment provided in compliance with organizational policies and healthcare regulations using WebPT EMR Software.
• Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals to develop an integrated care approach for each patient.
• Motivate and engage patients throughout their recovery process, instilling a sense of responsibility for their own health and wellness.
• Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of treatment plans and make necessary adjustments to improve patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic serves a diverse patient population, primarily consisting of individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, and conditions affecting their musculoskeletal health. You will work with patients ranging from active adults to older adults, applying your knowledge to help them regain functionality and independence. Delivering customized therapeutic programs aimed at enhancing strength, flexibility, and overall physical performance is a critical component of this role.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Virginia.
• A strong professional record, with no prior disciplinary actions or issues regarding licensure.
• Expertise in manual therapy and rehabilitation techniques, with a focus on orthopedic conditions.
• Demonstrated capacity to create, administer, and adapt exercise protocols based on individual patient challenges.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting preferred.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT.
• Proven abilities in patient engagement and education to promote proactive recovery.

Compensation and Benefits
