Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough preliminary interviews and comprehensive mental health evaluations to understand clients' unique backgrounds and conditions.

• Develop and implement tailored intervention and recovery plans for individuals, couples, families, and groups, ensuring alignment with best practices in mental health care.

• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based techniques to enhance therapeutic outcomes.

• Maintain meticulous documentation of client progress and treatment plans from initial consultation to discharge, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

• Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals—including psychologists, psychiatrists, social workers, and primary care providers—to create integrated intervention plans.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in the state of California.

• A successful score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Proficient in utilizing electronic health record systems, particularly AVATAR, for patient management and documentation.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, accompanied by a high degree of empathy and interpersonal skills.

• A strong understanding of various mental health disorders and their treatment interventions tailored for diverse populations.

Preferred Experience\n

• Prior experience as a mental health counselor, particularly within community health settings.

• Knowledge of addiction disorders and co-occurring physical and emotional health conditions.

• Familiarity with the guidelines and best practices set by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).

• In-depth understanding of psychotropic medications and their effects as prescribed by medical experts.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of $80,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience, along with a sign-on bonus to welcome you to our team.
