Work Environment

The Physical Therapist position is based at our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center located in the heart of Matawan, New Jersey. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess patients' physical function and develop individualized treatment plans aligned with physician recommendations.
• Oversee and guide physical therapy assistants during the implementation of treatment protocols to ensure compliance with clinical guidelines.
• Administer therapeutic modalities, including manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and physical agent modalities to relieve pain and promote recovery.
• Evaluate home environments to provide recommendations that enhance patient independence and safety during rehabilitation.
• Monitor patient progress, document clinical records including evaluations, care plans, and discharge summaries, and adjust treatment strategies based on patient responses.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care, attend case conferences, and engage in shared decision-making about treatment objectives.
• Educate patients and their families on physical therapy protocols, enablements, and the utilization of assistive devices.
• Regularly communicate patient progress and potential changes to the care plan to family members and case managers.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Physical Therapist at Bench Mark Physiotherapy Services will primarily work with orthopedic patients recovering from surgeries, injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of New Jersey.
• A valid driver's license and current automobile insurance.
• Current CPR certification.

• An understanding of federal and state regulatory standards governing physical therapy practice.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time Physical Therapist position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package.
