Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and create personalized therapy plans tailored to each client’s unique circumstances and needs.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including individual, group, and family counseling, employing diverse methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused therapy.

• Maintain thorough and accurate clinical documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards while utilizing Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems for documentation and client management.

• Engage in collaborative treatment planning with colleagues from various disciplines, such as psychiatrists, social workers, and case managers, to address the holistic needs of clients.

• Participate in ongoing professional development and training workshops to stay abreast of the latest research and trends in mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The LPC position focuses on providing quality mental health care to a variety of clientele, including children, adults, and families facing significant mental health challenges. This may include individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, substance misuse, and relationship issues. As part of our mission, we prioritize serving those with limited access to mental health resources in the community.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in Pennsylvania.

• At least two years of professional counseling experience is necessary, ideally within a clinical or community-based setting.

• A thorough understanding of legal and ethical standards related to mental health practice.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively build rapport with diverse client populations.

• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team environment.

• Experience with EMR software and other relevant technologies.

Preferred Experience\n

• Specialization in family therapy, couples therapy, trauma care, or substance misuse counseling is highly preferred.

• Experience in providing treatment in a community health setting.

Compensation and Benefits\n
