Work Environment\n

This position offers the flexibility of remote work while ensuring that you remain an integral part of a collaborative healthcare team. You will utilize advanced telehealth technologies to conduct virtual assessments, provide therapy, and engage with both patients and colleagues. The Bedford Healthcare Center values work-life balance, and your schedule will predominantly be Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough bio-psychosocial assessments that address individual mental health, substance abuse, and medical needs, ensuring cultural competency and age-appropriate interventions.

• Provide a range of behavioral health services, including individual and group therapy, crisis intervention, intake evaluations, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
\n
• Act as a liaison between patients and community resources, facilitating access to medication assistance programs and other essential services.
\n
• Regularly update electronic documentation systems with progress notes, treatment plans, and patient evaluations to enhance quality of care and maintain compliance with health regulations.
\n
• Collaborate with Quality Improvement teams to enhance practices and contribute to the development of data collection processes that track patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on a diverse set of patients, including individuals, couples, and families from various cultural backgrounds facing mental health challenges. You will implement evidence-based practices to address issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use, ensuring that each service rendered is respectful and responsive to the unique needs of the patient population.

Qualifications\n

• A valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in the state of California.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
\n
• A minimum of three (3) years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting, demonstrating strong competencies in counseling and crisis intervention.

• Proficiency in employing cognitive-behavioral therapy techniques and other therapeutic modalities, with the capacity to make independent judgments in clinical scenarios.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in telehealth delivery, ideally in a remote working environment to facilitate the transition to virtual patient care.

• Familiarity with community resources and referral processes, enhancing patients’ access to necessary support.

Compensation and Benefits\n
