This position is remote, allowing you the flexibility to conduct sessions from the comfort of your home while still benefiting from a structured outpatient office setting. You will be part of a close-knit team of professionals who collaborate to provide comprehensive care. Our typical work hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with some evening shifts possible to accommodate our patients' needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of patients entering the substance use disorder treatment program to identify individual needs and goals.

• Create and implement personalized treatment plans with evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored for each client’s unique situation.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions using techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and motivational interviewing to enhance engagement and support recovery.

• Collaborate effectively with psychiatrists, addiction specialists, and social workers to provide a fully integrated approach to care, promoting seamless patient experiences.

• Respond to crises by providing immediate intervention and support in the event of a substance-related emergency.

• Educate patients and their families about addiction, coping strategies, and available community resources to foster greater awareness and empowerment.

• Maintain meticulous records of each session, ensuring compliance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards for confidentiality and documentation.

• Engage in ongoing professional development, attending team meetings, case consultations, and workshops to stay current on best practices and innovations in treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be individuals struggling with substance use disorders, including those who may also be facing co-occurring mental health conditions. You will work with diverse populations, including adults, teens, and families, allowing you to make a profoundly positive impact on a variety of lives as they navigate recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Active and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.

• Comprehensive knowledge of substance use disorders, best practices in addiction treatment, and recovery-oriented counseling methods.

• Proven experience providing individual and group therapy specifically in the context of addiction treatment.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills and a compassionate, non-judgmental approach to counseling.

• Ability to maintain professional boundaries while ensuring patient confidentiality and ethical compliance.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and a comfort with technology that supports efficient documentation and communication.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This role offers a competitive salary range of USD 115,000 – 130,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
