Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments and evaluations to ascertain the mental health status and needs of clients, ensuring a tailored approach to treatment.
• Develop and execute personalized treatment plans in alignment with the individual goals and requirements of each client.
• Provide one-on-one therapy to adult clients using research-backed and solution-focused modalities via teletherapy platforms.
• Respond to crisis situations as necessary, offering immediate support and intervention to clients in distress.
• Engage in continuous learning through professional development initiatives, keeping abreast of the latest mental health best practices and industry standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Gotham Enterprises Ltd, you will work primarily with adult clients experiencing various mental health challenges. Our diverse client population includes individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues, among others. You will play a critical role in helping these clients navigate their struggles and achieve their therapeutic goals.

Qualifications

• A valid and current license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A bachelor's degree in a relevant field; a master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to cultivate strong therapeutic relationships.
• A compassionate demeanor coupled with a non-judgmental attitude towards client experiences.
• Strong organizational abilities for managing caseloads and maintaining effective documentation.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of experience in a mental health counseling role.
• Experience with teletherapy and virtual counseling platforms is highly desirable.
• No disciplinary actions on your professional record, ensuring adherence to ethical standards in practice.
