The Nurse Practitioner will work onsite within the Assisted Living Facility, closely interacting with residents who require specialized cardiology care. Key Responsibilities

The Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for a variety of crucial tasks, including but not limited to:

• Performing comprehensive evaluations and assessments for adult and geriatric patients, including detailed history taking and physical examinations to accurately document health conditions.
• Developing and implementing individualized care plans tailored to each patient’s specific health needs and conditions, ensuring a holistic approach to treatment.
• Executing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures based on clinical expertise, such as ECG interpretations, cardiac stress tests, and managing arrhythmia monitoring.
• Prescribing medications and managing treatment regimens to enhance patient outcomes while carefully monitoring patients for potential side effects or complications.
• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records, ensuring compliance with billing requirements and medical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary patient population served includes adult and geriatric residents with a focus on those experiencing acute and chronic cardiology issues. Qualifications

To be a successful candidate for this role, you must meet the following qualifications:

• A Master’s Degree in Nursing as a Nurse Practitioner.
• An active Nurse Practitioner license in the state of New York.
• Minimum of 2 years of direct clinical experience, particularly in a cardiology setting.
• Strong knowledge in patient assessment, diagnosis, and the treatment protocols for cardiac diseases.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
