Senior Accountant, CPA (Hybrid) for Real Estate Investment/Management company

• Seeking a strong Accountant (CPA) out of public accounting for a strong real estate company here locally. It would be necessary to have at least 2 years public accounting and ideally a mix of public and private experience.
• Ideally looking for prior real estate industry experience and familiar with Yardi
• Position will be blend of corporate accounting, property accounting and fund accounting.
• Core responsibilities will include driving the month end close, and internal financial reporting.
• Responsible for preparation of quarterly analytics for external Investor reports.
• Manage cash flows, reconciling cash and investments
• Ensure accurate recording of revenues and expenses.
• Month-end activities, journal entries, GL & account reconciliation, and accruals.
• Account analysis to review monthly flux analysis and variance analysis between actual and budget.
• Yardi highly desired and strong Excel skills
• Strong communication and presentation skills would be necessary.
