Key Responsibilities\n

• Assess client needs through comprehensive mental health evaluations to identify co-occurring conditions and treatment requirements.

• Conduct both individual and group therapy sessions focusing on addiction recovery, trauma relief, and the management of underlying mental health issues.

• Regularly monitor client progress, providing feedback and adjustments to treatment plans as necessary to optimize recovery outcomes.

• Engage in ongoing collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to ensure integrated and patient-centered care approaches.

• Educate clients and their families about mental health, addiction recovery principles, and coping strategies to foster understanding and empower their recovery journeys.

• Maintain thorough and accurate client documentation in compliance with HIPAA standards and professional ethical guidelines.

The clients you will support include individuals from diverse backgrounds grappling with addiction and mental health disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• A valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) credential in the state of New York.

• A minimum of three years of recent, relevant experience in mental health counseling, particularly in a rehabilitation context.

Compensation and Benefits\n
