Manager, Business Development

About the role As Manager, Business Development for our Boutique team, you'll lead a hybrid group of business development representatives across Birmingham and the Philippines, all focused on bringing Zen Planner to boutique gyms, martial arts studios, and fitness businesses. You'll carry your own pipeline goal while coaching your team to hit theirs, splitting your time between prospecting and developing the people around you. This role is right for someone who wants to keep selling and start leading, and who's energized by building a team from the ground up across two continents.What you'll doOwn a personal pipeline goal alongside your team's targets, prospecting boutique gym owners and studio operators through calls, email, SMS, and social outreachBuild and run the outbound playbook for the Boutique division, including messaging, sequencing, and objection handlingLead hiring for both the Birmingham and Philippines teams, then coach reps through live call reviews, 1:1s, and daily performance check-insSet the team up to win across time zones, coordinating schedules so outreach lands during peak hours for US prospectsPartner with account executives and marketing to sharpen lead quality, demo conversion, and campaign alignmentKeep Salesforce and your sales engagement platform clean and current, using the data to spot trends and coach proactivelyReport on team performance and market insights directly to the VP of SalesWhat you'll bring3–5 years of outbound sales development or business development experience in B2B SaaSA track record of hitting outbound pipeline or quota targetsExperience with Salesforce and at least one sales engagement platform (Outreach, Salesloft, Apollo, or similar)Comfort operating as both an individual contributor and a people leader at the same timeStrong consultative communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with small-business owners quicklyNice to havePeople management experience leading a BDR, SDR, or inside sales teamExperience selling into fitness, wellness, or boutique gym verticalsExperience managing or partnering with an offshore or international teamFamiliarity with fitness management platforms like Exercise.com, Wodify, Mindbody, or ABC Fitness/GlofoxAdditional Information Daxko is dedicated to pursuing and hiring a diverse workforce.
