The role is designed to offer maximum flexibility with a remote work setting, allowing you to engage with clients from various locations while maintaining a strong connection to our team. Our business hours are Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, ensuring that you have a structured schedule that promotes work-life balance. You will have all necessary tools and resources at your disposal to deliver effective care, with access to telehealth platforms and electronic health record systems to streamline documentation and client communication.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' symptoms, including the severity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder-related challenges.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, addressing their specific needs, goals, and personal preferences.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to effectively support clients in managing their mood disorders.

• Provide psychoeducation and support to both clients and their families regarding mood disorders, treatment options, and healthy self-care strategies.

• Monitor and track clients' progress through regular follow-up sessions, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to enhance efficacy.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach to mental health care, addressing both psychological and pharmacological needs.

• Stay abreast of the latest research findings and treatment advancements in mood disorders, applying this knowledge to improve therapeutic outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The ideal candidate will work primarily with individuals who experience mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety disorders. Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in New Jersey.

• In-depth expertise in evidence-based therapeutic techniques for mood disorders, particularly CBT and DBT.

• Strong knowledge of psychopharmacology and the skills necessary to work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other medical personnel.

• A proven track record of delivering successful therapeutic outcomes in treating clients with mood disturbances.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients from varied backgrounds.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least 2 years of clinical experience in a mental health setting, preferably focusing on mood disorders.
