Work Environment

You will work onsite within a modern Rehabilitation Center where collaboration and a team-oriented atmosphere are paramount. Our facility is equipped with advanced therapeutic technology and resources that empower our physical therapists to provide a wide range of treatments. The center operates Monday through Friday, with occasional weekends as needed, ensuring a balanced workload while meeting patient needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to identify patient needs, develop individualized treatment plans, and set measurable goals that align with patient aspirations.
• Utilize a variety of treatment techniques and modalities, tailoring your approach to each patient's unique circumstances and recovery objectives.
• Work collaboratively within interdisciplinary care teams, demonstrating leadership by facilitating effective communication and cooperation amongst team members.
• Engage in patient and family education to empower them with the knowledge necessary for recovery and ongoing care management.
• Participate in departmental initiatives related to cost management and professional practice activities to enhance operational efficiency.
• Consistently deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring every patient experience is positive and fulfilling.
• Stay updated with the latest clinical best practices and participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to refine your skills and contribute to team knowledge.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will primarily focus on a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from sports injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, and chronic pain management. You will be integral in helping these patients regain their mobility and independence, which plays a critical part in our mission of improving their quality of life.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy or an equivalent qualification.
• Current physical therapy license in the State of Florida and CPR certification must be obtained by the time of hire.
• Demonstrable skills in multitasking and maintaining composure in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work in collaboration with a diverse team, displaying professionalism, tact, and diplomacy.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills are essential.
• Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and a high level of integrity in all interactions.
• Basic proficiency in computer applications relevant to patient management systems.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of two years of experience in a clinical setting, preferably within a rehabilitation environment.
• Experience with electronic health records (EHR) and knowledge of best practices in patient care.
• Prior exposure to interdisciplinary collaboration in a healthcare context.
