This role primarily involves onsite patient care within a home care setting. Key Responsibilities

You will be responsible for a range of key activities that contribute directly to patient care and recovery, including:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to determine their physical therapy needs and rehabilitation goals.
• Develop and implement customized treatment plans utilizing a variety of therapeutic techniques such as exercise programs, manual therapy, and assistive devices to promote mobility and relieve pain.
• The PT will regularly monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families about the physical therapy process, ensuring they feel empowered to engage in their own recovery.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members, including physicians and nursing staff, to create a holistic treatment approach that addresses the complex needs of patients.
• Stay current with best practices and advancements in physical therapy by attending workshops and professional development opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Home Care PT, you will work primarily with diverse populations, including children, adults, and the elderly, who may be experiencing a variety of conditions such as post-surgical rehabilitation, orthopedic injuries, chronic pain, and neurological disorders. Qualifications

To succeed in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Valid state licensure to practice physical therapy in Virginia.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey treatment plans and educate patients and families.
• Proficient computer skills for documenting patient records and treatment plans.
• A commitment to ongoing professional development and learning in the field of physical therapy.
• A flexible and adaptable approach to patient care is essential.

Preferred Experience

While prior clinical experience is valuable, we welcome recent graduates as well. A minimum of two years of experience in a clinical setting is preferred, specifically in home care or outpatient settings, to ensure the best support for our patients.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Alongside a generous base salary, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
