The Mental Health Counselor will operate in a fully remote work environment, effectively utilizing technology to conduct sessions via video calls and online platforms. Key Responsibilities\n

• Monitor progress and modify treatment plans as necessary based on client feedback and improvement.

• Coordinate care as needed by making referrals to other mental health professionals, including psychiatrists and support groups.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on serving clients facing a variety of mental health challenges, such as anxiety disorders, depression, substance abuse issues, and eating disorders. Counselors are expected to demonstrate cultural competence and sensitivity, tailoring their approach to meet the diverse needs of clients from various backgrounds and demographics.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of New York.

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a mental health setting is required.

• A strong foundational knowledge of mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment approaches, and a commitment to cultural competence in therapy.

• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant technology.

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to establish rapport with clients of diverse backgrounds.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition, our comprehensive benefits package includes:
