Thrive Compassionate Counseling is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) for a full-time position that primarily serves a school setting remotely. Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments through interviews, observations, and a review of medical and educational records to evaluate various factors influencing students' health and learning. \n
- Provide individual and group counseling sessions to students, addressing their emotional needs, adjusting to life transitions, and enhancing coping strategies. \n
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and other school personnel to create and implement individualized educational and emotional support plans for students. \n
- Assist students and their families in navigating resources within the community, such as therapy programs, rehabilitation services, and educational support services. \n
- Educate families about available resources and provide guidance on post-rehabilitation services to promote long-term success. \n
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to ensure that every student’s care plan is aligned with their educational goals and emotional well-being. \n
- Facilitate discharge planning and supportive transitions for students returning to traditional schooling or alternative therapeutic settings. \n
The LCSW will work primarily with school-age children and adolescents who face a range of emotional and behavioral challenges. This includes students with adjustment disorders, mental health issues, and those recovering from trauma or loss. Qualifications\n- \n
- A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required. \n
