Let's Talk Counseling, LLC is seeking a dedicated and licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our dynamic team. This full-time position is designed for individuals who are passionate about enhancing the mental well-being of diverse populations through effective counseling practices. Located in Victor, New York, Let's Talk Counseling, LLC operates as a community health clinic focused on providing comprehensive outpatient psychiatric services. Our mission is to support our patients by addressing a wide range of mental health issues, including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and substance abuse. Work Environment

This position is fully remote, offering the flexibility necessary for counselors to provide care to our patients from the comfort of their own homes. You will be part of a supportive and collaborative environment that prioritizes mental health and well-being, both for our clients and our staff. Our work hours are Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility available to meet patient needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to ascertain patients' needs and collaboratively develop tailored treatment plans.
• Deliver evidence-based interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, to individuals, couples, and families.
• Facilitate psychoeducational groups and support sessions to create a sense of community among clients facing common challenges.
• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a steady flow of coordinated patient care.
• Provide crisis intervention services and immediate support for patients experiencing mental health emergencies.
• Educate patients on mental health conditions, available treatment options, and community resources to empower them in their own healing journeys.
• Ensure meticulous documentation of all patient interactions and treatment plans, adhering to legal and ethical standards.
• Participate actively in team meetings and professional development workshops to remain current in the latest mental health practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

We serve a diverse client base, comprising individuals from varying socio-economic backgrounds who are experiencing mental health challenges. Our patient population includes children, adolescents, adults, and families, allowing our counselors to develop a broad range of therapeutic skills while impacting lives across the lifespan.

Qualifications

• Possession of a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT within New York State.
• A strong foundation in mental health disorders, evidence-based therapeutic modalities, and best practices in counseling.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct comprehensive assessments and devise effective, individualized treatment strategies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, showcasing the ability to connect with a diverse range of clients.
• Competence in maintaining professional boundaries and ethical standards within therapeutic relationships.
• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and a comfort level with various computer applications.

Preferred Experience

• Two or more years of experience in a clinical setting, providing individual and group therapy.
• Familiarity with community mental health resources and networks within the Victor area.
• Experience utilizing telehealth platforms to provide remote counseling services effectively.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this full-time position ranges from USD 90,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. We offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
