Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments through virtual interviews and evaluations to understand clients' needs and challenges.
• Develop personalized treatment plans that address specific mental health issues and foster client resilience.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused brief therapy, to facilitate positive change.
• Maintain accurate clinical records in compliance with confidentiality regulations, using our secure electronic health record (EHR) system.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care that considers the physical, emotional, and social well-being of clients.
• Educate and support patients and their families regarding mental health issues and available resources.
• Stay current on research and developments in mental health practices to provide informed care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily focuses on serving at-risk youth and their families who are navigating mental health challenges. Your critical support will help them build resilience and improve their overall mental health. You will work closely with diverse populations, ensuring that care is culturally competent and sensitive to the unique circumstances facing each client.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
• Must possess a valid LCSW license in the state of New York.
• A minimum of 2 years of clinical social work experience, particularly in mental health settings, is necessary.
• Proficiency in delivering a variety of solution-focused psychotherapy approaches tailored to individual client needs.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, essential for building rapport with clients and collaborating with team members.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working with trauma-informed care and evidence-based practices is preferred, along with familiarity with electronic health records software.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills will aid in developing effective treatment plans.

Compensation and Benefits
