Work Environment\n

This remote position offers the flexibility to manage your schedule while working within a collaborative and supportive team. Your work hours will primarily be from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM; however, some flexibility will be required to meet the unique needs of our clients. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough and culturally sensitive mental health assessments to understand each patient's unique experiences, challenges, and aspirations, allowing you to develop tailored treatment plans.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, adapting techniques to fit each patient’s cultural and personal context, ensuring that therapy is relevant and effective.

• Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions that empower patients to address their mental health concerns, build resilience, and foster a sense of community.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals to ensure a seamless integration of care and responsiveness to patient needs.

• Respond to mental health emergencies by offering crisis intervention and immediate support to clients in distress.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and available community resources, enhancing their understanding and engagement in care.

• Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation, adhering to legal and ethical standards in record-keeping practices.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• A current and valid license as an LMFT, LLMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R in the state of New York is essential.

• Demonstrated understanding of mental health disorders and experience with evidence-based treatment approaches that reflect cultural competence.

• Proven ability to deliver therapy to individuals and groups using approaches that are responsive to diverse cultural backgrounds.

• Strong crisis intervention skills, with the ability to remain calm and effective in challenging situations.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, facilitating rapport-building with individuals from varied backgrounds.

• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and computer applications for documentation and communication.

• A commitment to maintaining ethical guidelines, professional boundaries, and confidentiality in all client interactions.

• Ability to collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary team setting, contributing positively to patient care and organizational goals.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
