Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments during initial consultations to evaluate clients' mental health statuses and needs.

• Adhere to ethical guidelines and professional standards while maintaining appropriate boundaries with clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position involves working with a diverse group of clients that reflects the multicultural fabric of the Bakersfield community. Our clientele includes individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, substance abuse, and relationship issues. Our counselors are expected to demonstrate cultural competence and a sensitivity to the unique backgrounds and experiences of each patient, ensuring an inclusive approach to therapy.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree from an accredited program in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.

• A current state-issued license as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW.

• At least four years of relevant clinical experience providing mental health counseling.

Compensation and Benefits\n
