This position offers the flexibility of remote work, enabling you to connect with clients in a way that is both accessible and comfortable for them. While some aspects of scheduling will be fixed (Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM), you will also have the opportunity to adjust your schedule to accommodate specific patient needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct culturally sensitive mental health assessments to understand the unique experiences and backgrounds of patients, leading to personalized treatment plans.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, tailoring your approach to align with the cultural and personal backgrounds of each client.

• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions, focusing on mental health concerns and nurturing resilience within a supportive setting.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals—including psychiatrists and psychologists—to provide coordinated and comprehensive care.

• Deliver crisis intervention support during emergencies, employing your crisis management skills to help clients stabilize and develop action plans.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, available treatment options, and community resources, helping to demystify mental health care.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring all client interactions are documented effectively.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A valid and active license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Oregon.

• In-depth knowledge of mental health disorders, therapeutic methods, and the importance of cultural competence in therapeutic practice.

• Experience providing individual and group therapy in culturally responsive settings, recognizing the diverse backgrounds of clients.

• Strong crisis intervention skills, with the composure to effectively manage challenging situations.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively build rapport with a diverse clientele.

• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and related computer tools.

• A commitment to upholding professional ethics, maintaining confidentiality, and adhering to legal guidelines.
