Work Environment\n

This remote position harnesses the power of telehealth, allowing you to connect directly with clients in a comfortable and flexible setting. Our work schedule runs from Monday to Friday, between 9:00 AM and 6:00 PM, with some required flexibility to accommodate various patient needs. We foster a collaborative team atmosphere through regular virtual meetings and cultural competency training sessions, ensuring that all staff members remain engaged and informed.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough and culturally sensitive mental health assessments to gain insights into patients' experiences and strengths.

• Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans tailored specifically to each individual’s cultural and personal background.

• Provide a variety of therapeutic sessions, including individual, family, and group therapy, to address diverse mental health concerns and promote resilience.

• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and other mental health professionals, to coordinate comprehensive care for clients.

• Deliver crisis intervention services and immediate support during mental health emergencies, using established protocols to ensure safety and stabilization.

• Educate patients and families about mental health conditions, emphasizing treatment options and available community resources.

• Maintain precise and confidential documentation consistent with legal and ethical standards, ensuring complete adherence to best practices.

• Actively participate in team discussions, case reviews, and ongoing professional development, keeping abreast of new research and cultural considerations in therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your expertise will be pivotal in engaging with a diverse client base, including but not limited to ethnic minorities, people of various sexual orientations, and immigrant populations. This role demands a keen understanding of cultural differences and the ability to apply culturally responsive strategies to foster effective communication and therapeutic outcomes.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Oregon.

• Strong grasp of mental health disorders and treatment modalities, with a commitment to evidence-based practices.

• Experience in delivering therapy that embraces cultural responsiveness and inclusivity.

• Demonstrated crisis intervention skills and efficiency in managing high-stress situations with composure.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with individuals from a variety of backgrounds.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and familiarity with digital communication tools.

• Commitment to ethical practices, maintaining professional boundaries, and ensuring client confidentiality.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of $70,000 to $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
