Key Responsibilities\n

• Perform comprehensive mental health evaluations through initial consultations, gathering detailed clinical histories to inform treatment plans.

• Develop personalized, evidence-based intervention strategies for individuals, couples, and families addressing their unique psychological needs.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, employing therapeutic techniques and methodologies such as cognitive-behavioral therapy and solution-focused therapy.

• Continuously monitor and document client progress throughout the treatment duration, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on observations and feedback.
\n
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers, including psychiatrists, nurses, and social workers, to ensure a cohesive and effective client care approach.
\n
• Provide support in coordinating referrals to additional services, helping clients access broader resources when appropriate.
\n
• Participate in follow-ups with clients who have been hospitalized, working closely with inpatient psychiatric teams to guide reintegration into outpatient care.

• Educate and engage family members and caregivers regarding mental health challenges, equipping them with strategies to support their loved ones’ recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Must hold a valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Oregon.

• Successful completion of the National Counselor Examination (NCE) or National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE) is required.
\n
• A proven background in mental health counseling, demonstrating the ability to handle sensitive cases effectively.
\n
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems, with preference given to candidates experienced in AVATAR.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in understanding and addressing co-occurring physical and mental health conditions, as well as addiction disorders.

• Knowledge of the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) best practices and ethical standards.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills to relay information accurately and compassionately to clients and team members alike.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills, along with a warm and empathetic demeanor to effectively engage clients.

Compensation and Benefits\n
