Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough preliminary interviews to assess client needs and document integrated case histories from the initial consultation through to discharge.

• Evaluate clients’ mental, emotional, and behavioral health using established assessment tools and methodologies.
\n
• Develop tailored treatment and recovery plans, employing evidence-based interventions for individuals, couples, families, and groups.
\n
• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing a variety of therapeutic modalities to suit diverse client needs.
\n
• Monitor client progress regularly throughout the treatment journey and adjust intervention strategies as necessary for optimal outcomes.
\n
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, primary care physicians, and social workers, to co-create effective treatment plans.
\n
• Identify potential barriers to recovery and employ proactive strategies to mitigate these challenges.
\n
• Support families and primary caregivers in understanding and managing the mental health needs of their loved ones.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our patients include children, adolescents, adults, and families experiencing a range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, stress, trauma-related disorders, and addiction issues. You will play a critical role in their journey towards recovery by providing empathetic and informed care tailored to each client's unique circumstances.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Oregon.
\n
• A passing score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
\n
• Proficiency in using electronic health record systems, such as AVATAR, for maintaining comprehensive and accurate client records.
\n
• Strong understanding of mental health conditions, including co-occurring disorders and related physical health issues.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of three years of experience working as a mental health counselor in a clinical environment.

• Familiarity with the practices endorsed by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).

• An understanding of psychotropic medications, their effects, and how they relate to client treatment.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on building rapport with clients and their families.

• A compassionate, empathetic, and positive demeanor in all interactions.

Compensation and Benefits\n
