Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' past trauma experiences and identify tailored treatment strategies.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that prioritize trauma recovery, resilience-building, and overall mental wellness.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate patient healing.

• Lead both individual and group therapy sessions focused on trauma processing, coping strategy development, and fostering emotional health.
\n
• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other health professionals to provide cohesive and integrated care for patients, enhancing their recovery journey.

• Provide crisis intervention support for patients facing trauma-related emergencies, ensuring appropriate resources and solutions are available.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and resources to facilitate recovery outside the therapy room.

• Maintain accurate and confidential patient documentation complying with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.
\n
• Stay current with the latest research trends and best practices in trauma therapy to continually enhance the quality of care provided.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our center primarily serves individuals affected by trauma, including those dealing with PTSD and other complex trauma-related conditions. The patient demographic is diverse, and therapists are encouraged to employ culturally competent strategies in their therapeutic approach to effectively connect with and support each client.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Oregon is required.
\n
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating a compassionate and non-judgmental attitude towards clients.

• Strong understanding of trauma-informed care principles and practices.
\n
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and familiarity with other digital applications relevant to mental health practice.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience providing mental health counseling, preferably in trauma-focused settings.

• Demonstrated experience with trauma-focused therapies and interventions.

Compensation and Benefits\n
