Key Responsibilities\n

• Group Therapy Facilitation: Engage clients in dynamic, supportive group sessions that encourage shared experiences and promote peer learning. You will be responsible for creating a safe and welcoming space where individuals can express themselves and connect with others.

• Individual Therapy: Provide personalized counseling tailored to the unique needs of each client, helping them navigate their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. You will employ evidence-based strategies to help clients develop effective coping mechanisms.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on young adults dealing with diverse mental health issues, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. You will work respectfully with clients from various backgrounds, using culturally competent practices to enhance their therapy experience.

Qualifications\n

• Master's Degree in a relevant field such as counseling, social work, psychology, or marriage and family therapy.

• Valid Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) licensure in Texas.

• Demonstrated experience in mental health treatment with clients in residential or outpatient settings.

• Strong clinical skills, including proficiency in motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT).
