Work Environment\n

This position is designed for a remote work setting, allowing for flexibility and work-life balance. The typical work schedule is Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts and rotating weekend availability as needed. You will engage with students, families, and educators through secure telehealth platforms, ensuring that you provide effective counseling regardless of location.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of students’ mental health needs, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of their unique challenges.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that focus on emotional well-being and academic success, integrating evidence-based therapeutic interventions.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, empowering students to develop emotional regulation and coping strategies.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support during mental health emergencies, ensuring student safety and well-being.

• Offer psychoeducation to students and their families about mental health conditions, promoting a supportive home and school environment.

• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation, adhering to all legal, ethical, and organizational standards.

• Participate actively in team meetings, case conferences, and professional development activities to enhance skills and share knowledge.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on engaging with students who present a variety of special needs and mental health challenges. This includes working effectively with children diagnosed with ASD, ADHD, and those experiencing emotional and behavioral difficulties. Your role is critical in helping these students navigate their emotions and academics, driving positive outcomes that can transform their educational experiences.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.

• A current and valid LCSW licensure within the state of Colorado is mandatory.
