Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive mental health assessments to determine patients' needs and formulate individualized treatment plans.

• Providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions, utilizing modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused therapy.

• Facilitating psychoeducational groups to foster community support amongst patients dealing with common mental health issues.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

To qualify for this role, you must possess:

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT within New York State.

• Demonstrated knowledge of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment methodologies.
