Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to evaluate patients’ histories and current challenges.

• Developing and implementing customized treatment plans focusing on trauma recovery and resilience-building strategies.

• Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitating both individual and group therapy sessions to support clients in processing trauma and acquiring effective coping skills.

• Collaborating with psychiatrists and other professionals to ensure an integrated approach to patient care.

• Providing crisis intervention and support during acute trauma-related emergencies, displaying readiness and composure under pressure.

• Educating patients and families about trauma responses, patient resources, and coping mechanisms to foster greater understanding and recovery.

• Maintaining meticulous documentation of patient interactions and progress in alignment with ethical and legal standards.

Qualifications\n

To ensure the highest standards of care, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure clinical experience.

• In-depth knowledge of trauma-related disorders and proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic methods.

Compensation and Benefits\n
