Position Overview

Capital Healthcare Center is excited to announce an opening for a full-time Physician Assistant at our state-of-the-art Surgical Center located in Garland, Texas. This role provides a unique opportunity for an experienced PA to engage in comprehensive care within a supportive team of healthcare professionals. With a salary range of USD 140,000 to 180,000 per year, we are looking for a dedicated individual to help us transform healthcare delivery while providing exceptional service to our patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a personal patient panel while also providing support for physician overflow, ensuring seamless care delivery.
• Engage in 100% clinic-based practice without call responsibilities, providing stability and focus on outpatient care.
• Perform a variety of procedures such as IUD insertions, Nexplanon placements, endometrial and vulvar biopsies, wellness exams, and colposcopies, with additional training opportunities available.
• Collaborate with the medical team to develop and implement care plans tailored to each patient’s unique needs.
• Utilize EPIC EMR for patient documentation and workflow management, enhancing the efficiency of practice operations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily care for women across various stages of life, focusing on obstetric and gynecological health. You will advocate for patient well-being through education and preventive care, ensuring women receive compassionate and comprehensive treatment that addresses both physical and emotional health. Your contributions will be vital to the overall improvement of patient outcomes and satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Valid Physician Assistant Certification and an unrestricted state medical license.
• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, preferably in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Completion of a Master’s Degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Full COVID-19 vaccination is required, in compliance with federal, state, and local mandates.
• Strong skills in active listening, critical thinking, time management, and effective communication.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with EPIC EMR is highly desirable, aiding in fluid patient care and documentation.
• Prior work in a surgical or OB/GYN setting will greatly enhance your integration into our team.
• Exposure to leadership training and activities within a healthcare setting is a plus.
