Work Environment

This position is onsite at our hospital facility in Garland, Texas, where you will work a full-time schedule from Monday to Friday, starting your shift at 5:00 pm. In our urgent care setting, you will experience a variety of cases that require a high level of clinical judgment and adaptability. You will be part of a collaborative healthcare team that includes physicians, nurses, and administrative support, all working together in a supportive and positive environment focused on achieving excellent patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient examinations and meticulously review medical histories to formulate effective treatment strategies.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as blood work and imaging studies, to aid in accurate diagnosis and treatment.
• Deliver immediate care for a range of acute illnesses and injuries, providing appropriate therapeutic interventions.
• Develop, implement, and revise treatment plans for patients with chronic conditions, ensuring continuity of care.
• Prescribe medications and monitor their effectiveness, adjusting dosages as necessary to optimize patient health outcomes.
• Maintain concise and confidential patient records using hospital information systems, ensuring adherence to healthcare regulations.
• Educate patients and their families about disease prevention, management strategies, and healthy lifestyle choices.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient progress and collaborate on best practices for care delivery.

Qualifications

• A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Physician Assistant studies from an accredited institution is mandatory.
• A valid State Physician Assistant license (PA-C) and DEA registration are required for practice.
• Proven experience working as a Physician Assistant in a clinical, hospital, ER, or urgent care environment.
• Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations and patient care standards to ensure compliance.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this full-time Physician Assistant position is competitive, between $140,000 and $180,000 per year, commensurate with experience. In addition to salary, we offer an extensive benefits package that includes:
