Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify client needs, histories, and goals, followed by crafting individualized treatment plans that are regularly updated based on progress and feedback.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, ensuring that each session is tailored to fit the client's unique situation.

• Facilitate engaging psychoeducational groups or support groups to discuss prevalent mental health topics and build a supportive community among participants.

• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team—including psychiatrists and psychologists—to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for every client.

• Provide crisis intervention services and guidance during mental health emergencies while maintaining a calm and reassuring presence.

• Educate clients and their families on mental health conditions, effective coping strategies, and local community resources to empower them beyond counseling sessions.

• Maintain meticulous, confidential documentation in accordance with all legal and ethical standards, including timely updates in our electronic health record (EHR) system.

• Participate in regular team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development to remain at the forefront of mental health trends and practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role at Fusion Counseling Center will involve working with a diverse client base, including adults experiencing a range of issues such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and substance abuse. You will utilize your experience and sensitivity to navigate the complexities of mental health conditions, ensuring each patient receives personalized and empathetic care.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure in the State of Nevada as one of the following: LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW.

• In-depth knowledge of various mental health disorders and therapeutic techniques derived from evidence-based practices.

Compensation and Benefits\n
