Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough clinical assessments, applying evidence-based practices to ensure the development of individualized treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each client.

• Utilize diverse therapeutic modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) in delivering effective interventions.

• Maintain accurate, confidential clinical documentation in adherence to HIPAA regulations and other relevant standards, ensuring quality care and accountability.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists, and fellow therapists during case consultations to enhance treatment outcomes.

• Participate in regular peer review meetings, contributing to the collective learning experience which elevates the standard of care provided.

• Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and supportive community resources, fostering a well-informed support system.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As part of your role, you will work with individuals of different ages and backgrounds, which will require an understanding of cultural sensitivities and tailored approaches that resonate with each client.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• An active license to practice as an LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R in the state of New York is essential.
