This role is entirely remote, enabling counselors to work from the comfort of their own home. Clinicians will also benefit from direct access to our Clinical Operations Teams and our Best-In-Class Care Coordination Team, ensuring seamless support.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Utilize your expertise to create personalized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, addressing their unique needs and goals concerning their relationship with alcohol.

• Conduct both individual and group therapy sessions using methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing.
\n
• Develop and lead optional support groups, encouraging community recovery through shared experiences and discussions.
\n
• Manage scheduling autonomously without a minimum number of hours required, allowing you to optimize your work-life balance.
\n
• Receive payment for late cancellations and no-shows as part of our supportive approach to clinician concerns.
\n
• Participate in an annual continuing education program, with costs covered by the organization, to continuously enhance your professional skills and knowledge.

• Collaborate with our Content Manager to create resources such as “Expert Insights,” positioned to educate and empower our clients.
\n
• Contribute to a productive team dynamic by participating in optional monthly peer group meetings, fostering a strong community of support among counselors.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The clientele you will serve primarily consists of individuals seeking to improve their relationship with alcohol. Many of our clients approach treatment with varying goals, including moderation rather than total abstinence. A strong familiarity with harm-reduction models is essential, as this approach allows for individualized treatment plans that resonate with clients’ specific recovery journeys.

Qualifications\n

• Must hold a valid license as either an LCSW, LCSW-R, LMFT, or LMHC in the state of New York.

• Demonstrated training, certification, and experience with evidence-based practices, including CBT, DBT, and Trauma-Informed Treatment.

• Ability to engage with clients empathetically, build rapport, and foster a trusting therapeutic relationship.

• Understanding of various community recovery resources such as AA, Smart Recovery, and Moderation Management, providing clients with well-rounded support.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience working with clients struggling with alcohol use disorders is highly valued.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The offered salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, complemented by performance-based bonuses.
