Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of students to evaluate their mental health status and identify specific needs.

• Design and implement tailored treatment plans that incorporate therapeutic interventions, ensuring each student's unique challenges are addressed.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, employing a variety of therapeutic modalities suitable for different mental health conditions, such as anxiety, depression, and behavioral issues.

• Engage in crisis intervention strategies as necessary, providing immediate support to students experiencing acute mental health challenges.

• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of patient interactions, treatment progress, and results, in compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including teachers, administrators, and parents, to coordinate care and enhance educational outcomes for each student.

• Participate in regular staff meetings, case consultations, and training sessions to stay informed of best practices and emerging trends in mental health treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with school-aged children and adolescents who may be experiencing a range of emotional and psychological difficulties. The diverse patient population includes students from various socio-economic backgrounds, each requiring tailored approaches to treatment. Your expertise will be critical in promoting resilience and supporting the academic success of these young individuals.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• A valid and active license to practice clinical social work in the state of Illinois.

• Proven experience providing psychotherapy to children and adolescents, preferably within a school or educational setting.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, families, and educational staff.

Compensation and Benefits\n
