Outpatient Therapist / Social Worker (LMSW)
Location: Southgate, MI
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Setting: Adult Outpatient Behavioral Health
Shift: Days | 37.5 Hours/Week
Schedule: Primarily 8:30 AM–5 PM, flexible scheduling; some evenings/weekends required
On-Call: None
Pay Rate
- Fully Licensed: $29.47–$39.67/hour
- Limited License: $27.22–$36.63/hour
Pay is based on licensure and experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct mental health assessments and intake evaluations.
- Provide individual and group therapy to adults.
- Develop person-centered treatment plans.
- Support patients with mental health and co-occurring substance use disorders.
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and coordinate discharge planning.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling required.
- Active Michigan license: LMSW, LLMSW, LPC, LLPC, LLP, or TLLP.
- Minimum 1 year of mental health experience required (internship/fieldwork accepted).
- Must obtain Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) credential within 120 days of hire.
- Strong clinical assessment, communication, and counseling skills.
- Must have U.S. work authorization without requiring sponsorship.
