Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive client evaluations and create tailored treatment plans to address individual mental health needs.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, utilizing modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused therapy.

• Facilitate therapy sessions for individuals, couples, and groups, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for clients to explore their challenges.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychologists, social workers, and healthcare providers, to deliver holistic care to our clientele.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records in accordance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring confidentiality and compliance.

• Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities to stay abreast of the latest research best practices in mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with individuals and families from diverse backgrounds, many of whom face significant barriers to accessing mental health care. Your expertise will be critical in helping clients deal with various issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. Being patient-focused, the goal is to empower clients through tailored therapeutic approaches that resonate with their unique experiences.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in the state of Maryland.

• A minimum of two years of professional counseling experience, preferably within a clinical setting.

• Proven understanding of legal and ethical standards relevant to counseling practices.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse client populations.
