Work Environment\n

This role is primarily remote, offering flexibility while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of professionals dedicated to patient care. The standard work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with potential evening shifts based on patient needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive intake assessments to accurately determine the unique needs and goals of each patient entering our substance use disorder treatment program.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based interventions tailored to the specific requirements of each client.

• Provide one-on-one counseling sessions employing techniques such as motivational interviewing and cognitive-behavioral therapy to facilitate personal growth and recovery.
\n
• Lead group therapy sessions that foster peer support, accountability, and shared experiences among individuals in recovery.
\n
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, addiction medicine specialists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure patients receive integrated and coordinated care, promoting optimal treatment outcomes.

• Deliver crisis intervention as needed, being prepared to guide patients through substance-related emergencies and challenging circumstances.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about addiction, recovery strategies, and available community resources to encourage engagement in supportive services.
\n
• Maintain accurate, confidential, and up-to-date documentation in compliance with all legal and ethical standards and organizational policies.

• Actively participate in regular team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development activities to enrich the collective knowledge of the team.

• Continuously update your knowledge of recent research, advancements, and best practices in substance use disorder treatment to enhance the quality of care provided to patients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The target population includes individuals experiencing substance use disorders, ranging from those seeking their first step into recovery to those who may be experiencing relapse. Our focus extends to the families of patients, providing education and support as they navigate the often challenging dynamics of addiction and recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas is required.
\n
• In-depth knowledge of substance use disorders, evidence-based treatment modalities, and recovery-oriented care approaches.
\n
• Demonstrated experience delivering both individual and group therapy services in the context of addiction treatment.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, characterized by an empathetic and non-judgmental demeanor.

• Ability to maintain professional boundaries and adhere strictly to ethical guidelines, ensuring patient confidentiality at all times.

• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and relevant computer applications.

• Strong collaborative skills to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience\n

• Minimum of 2 years of direct experience in providing mental health counseling focused on substance use disorders.

• Previous experience in an outpatient setting is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits\n
