Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, allowing for flexibility while maintaining high standards of care within our hospice center framework. You'll have access to state-of-the-art technology to facilitate teletherapy sessions, ensuring that our clients receive uninterrupted support from the comfort of their homes. Our operating hours are Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility based on client needs. We recognize the importance of a supportive team dynamic, so you will be working closely with a multidisciplinary team dedicated to comprehensive patient care.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth mental health assessments to thoroughly understand each patient’s unique situation, developing tailored treatment plans that utilize effective therapeutic strategies.

• Provide individual and group therapy sessions using evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy, ensuring positive therapeutic outcomes.

• Facilitate psychoeducational support groups aimed at addressing prevalent mental health concerns, creating a nurturing community and encouraging peer support among patients.

• Collaborate seamlessly with psychiatrists, psychologists, and healthcare professionals to guarantee well-coordinated and holistic patient care.

• Provide intervention services during crises, offering immediate support and resources to ensure the safety and well-being of patients.

• Educate patients about the nature of their mental health conditions, the available treatment options, and connect them with relevant community resources to enhance their support systems.

• Maintain precise and confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record systems effectively.

• Participate actively in case consultations and team meetings to engage in professional development and stay informed on the latest trends in mental health therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will focus on a diverse population experiencing various mental health disorders, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and substance use challenges. You will work primarily with adults, adolescents, and families, applying a culturally competent lens to address the unique needs of each individual.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in Oregon.

• A strong foundation in mental health disorders, contemporary therapeutic approaches, and evidence-based treatment modalities.

• Demonstrated experience in both individual and group therapy, with an ability to engage a wide range of clients effectively.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, promoting a trusting and respectful therapeutic relationship.

Preferred Experience\n
