This position offers the flexibility and convenience of a remote work setting. Our therapists operate in a collaborative hospice center environment, ensuring a multidisciplinary approach to care. While the primary work schedule is Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, some degree of flexibility may be necessary to accommodate the needs of patients. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to gauge patients' needs and create individualized treatment plans.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to individuals, couples, and families, utilizing established modalities such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy.

• Facilitate psychoeducational sessions and support groups that address common mental health issues, promoting community and connection among patients.

• Collaborate with a diverse team of psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic and coordinated patient care.

• Deliver crisis intervention services to assist patients during mental health emergencies, employing sound clinical judgment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.

• Strong knowledge of mental health disorders alongside familiarity with evidence-based treatment modalities.

• Demonstrated ability to perform comprehensive mental health assessments and formulate effective treatment strategies.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of two years of relevant experience in the mental health field is required, ideal candidates will possess experience in hospice or palliative care settings. Compensation and Benefits\n
