Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, your key responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough assessments and developing individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each client.

• Providing bilingual therapy services in both Spanish and English, ensuring effective communication with clients from diverse backgrounds.

• Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT, or Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) based on your training.

• Facilitating both individual and family therapy sessions, focusing on issues such as trauma, grief, loss, and LGBTQ+ concerns.

• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation of client progress in compliance with HIPAA and state regulations.

• Participating in regular clinical supervision, team meetings, and training sessions to continuously enhance your skills.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily involve children, adults, and families who are seeking support for a range of mental health challenges. You'll work with clients experiencing familial dynamics, emotional crises, mental health disorders, and significant life transitions.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• Master's Degree in Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field from an accredited institution.
\n
• An active, unrestricted LMFT license in Illinois.
\n
• Strong bilingual communication skills in both Spanish and English, both written and verbal.
\n
• At least two years of experience working in a mental health setting with diverse populations, including children and families.
\n
• A demonstrated commitment to cultural competence and sensitivity.
\n
• A track record of applying various therapeutic methodologies and approaches with a diverse client base.

• Proficiency in using EHR software and Microsoft Office suite, along with the ability to maintain documentation accurately.

• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
\n
• Flexible scheduling availability, including evening and weekend hours.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, the following experiences are advantageous:

Compensation and Benefits\n
