Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individual, couples, and family therapy sessions through telehealth platforms, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations for privacy.

• Assess client needs and mental health conditions to develop appropriate treatment plans tailored to individuals’ unique circumstances.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).

• Document client progress accurately in electronic health record (EHR) systems while adhering to best practices for confidentiality and record-keeping.

• Engage in ongoing professional development through workshops, training, and supervision opportunities to enhance therapeutic skills.

• Participate in team meetings to discuss client cases, share insights, and collaborate on treatment strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clientele includes a diverse range of individuals seeking support for various mental health challenges. Counselors will engage with teens and adults facing issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and relationship conflicts. We aim to address the unique cultural backgrounds of our clients, providing services in both English and Spanish to enhance therapeutic accessibility and efficacy.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s Degree in Counseling or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Active and unrestricted LMFT license in the state of Illinois.

• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is essential for providing effective psychotherapy services.

• Minimum of two years of experience working in a mental health setting with a focus on children, adults, and families.

• Deep understanding and respect for diverse cultural values and individual needs is crucial.

• Must have completed HIPAA training and demonstrate a strong understanding of confidentiality requirements.

• Valid Driver's License and car insurance for any potential in-person client meetings.

• A commitment to attending at least two evenings per week and one weekend day is required.

Compensation and Benefits\n
