Work Environment\n

This role is primarily conducted in a remote setting, allowing for flexible work arrangements while maintaining high standards of care. The typical schedule is Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, where virtual meetings and counseling sessions become the norm. You will have access to necessary resources and support systems conducive to effective therapy delivery.

Key Responsibilities\n

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The therapist will work with a diverse population, including individuals navigating anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and family dynamics. A significant part of your role will involve engaging with clients from different backgrounds, emphasizing cultural competency and sensitivity in your therapeutic approach.

Qualifications\n

• Must possess a valid and active LMFT license in Virginia.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• Demonstrated knowledge of evidence-based practices, particularly for substance abuse and co-occurring disorders.

• Strong therapeutic and counseling skills with demonstrated ability to inspire motivation in clients.

Preferred Experience\n
