Role Description The Accounts Payable Clerk is a full-time, on-site role based in San Antonio, TX. This position is responsible for processing vendor invoices, verifying accuracy, coding expenses, and ensuring timely payments in accordance with company policies. Daily tasks include reconciling statements, resolving discrepancies with vendors and internal stakeholders, and maintaining organized digital and physical records. The role also involves assisting with month-end close activities, preparing reports, and supporting the accounting team with special projects as needed. The Accounts Payable Clerk collaborates closely with property management and finance teams to support accurate financial reporting and smooth operations.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess skills in Accounting and Finance, with a solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounts payable processes.
• Candidates should possess skills in Accounting Software and Invoicing, including experience with AP systems and invoice processing workflows.
• Candidates should possess strong Communication skills to interact effectively with vendors, property teams, and internal departments.
• Candidates should possess strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Candidates should possess proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, and comfort working with spreadsheets and data entry.
• Relevant experience in real estate, property management, or a similar industry is beneficial.
• An associate degree or coursework in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
