Key Responsibilities\n

• Psychosocial Assessment: Conduct thorough and timely psychosocial assessments using your expertise in human behavior and psychosocial factors that affect treatment outcomes, while being cognizant of ethical considerations.

• Clinical Interventions: Provide supportive counseling to patients and families, facilitating difficult conversations related to end-of-life decisions, and coordinate with community agencies to ensure continuity of care.

• Caseload Management: Efficiently manage a diverse clinical caseload, balancing referrals and high-risk admissions while actively identifying and addressing high-risk situations in a timely manner.

• Legal and Ethical Compliance: Uphold legal and ethical standards in all clinical activities, including issues related to patient rights, duty to warn, and suspected abuse, ensuring adherence to hospital policies and procedures.

• Documentation: Complete comprehensive documentation in compliance with policies, including progress notes and interdisciplinary care plans, ensuring all records are accurately maintained.

• Education and In-Service Training: Deliver educational sessions to other healthcare staff on psychosocial aspects of patient care, enhancing the team's knowledge and improving overall care quality.

• Quality Improvement: Engage in evaluating and contributing to quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing patient care processes and outcomes.

• Additional Responsibilities: Participate in activities like Social Work Month initiatives and support groups for patients and their families, fostering community support and connection.

Qualifications\n

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary range for this position is between USD 120,000 and 130,000 , commensurate with experience and qualifications.
