This role requires a licensed professional—a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC)—to provide high-quality mental health services. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of counseling experience and a passion for improving the lives of children, youth, and families.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand clients' mental health needs and formulate effective treatment plans tailored to individual circumstances.

• Deliver one-on-one therapeutic sessions via telehealth platforms, employing techniques based on best practices and evidenced-based methodologies.

• Develop and implement care coordination plans that involve collaboration with other service providers, ensuring clients receive holistic support.

• Educate clients and their families about mental health disorders, treatment options, and resources available within the community.

• Facilitate referrals to specialized services and community resources, helping clients navigate their healthcare options effectively.

• Support clients dealing with substance abuse or trauma through tailored programs designed to promote healing and recovery.

• Participate in regular team meetings and supervision sessions to discuss cases and enhance therapeutic approaches in alignment with latest trends.

• Maintain comprehensive documentation of client interactions and treatment progress to comply with regulatory requirements and organizational policies.

• Stay informed of developments in mental health research, legislation, and therapeutic techniques to ensure the highest quality of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our mental health programs cater primarily to children, adolescents, and families facing challenges related to mental health and wellness. The therapist will work with clients from diverse backgrounds, many of whom may be experiencing issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral challenges. A key aspect of this role is to empower clients and their families through education, skills development, and supportive counseling tailored to their unique situations.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related discipline from an accredited institution, or a completed degree within one year.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in the State of California.

• At least two years of experience providing counseling and therapy services to diverse populations.

• Strong understanding of mental health theories and evidence-based practices, along with effective interview and counseling techniques.

• Demonstrated knowledge of community resources and the ability to create collaborative pathways for client support.

Compensation and Benefits\n
