Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, culturally sensitive mental health assessments to identify unique patient circumstances and inform treatment planning.

• Develop and implement tailored evidence-based therapeutic interventions that respect the cultural context of the clients.

• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions aimed at addressing mental health issues while fostering resilience and personal growth.

• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to deliver holistic care formulations for patients.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and emotional support during mental health emergencies, ensuring safety and understanding.

• Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions and available resources, enhancing their understanding of treatment options.

• Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation in adherence to legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in case conferences and team meetings, contributing insights and learning from cultural competency training sessions.

• Stay informed about developments in mental health research and best practices relevant to culturally responsive therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

At Blaze Health, you will work primarily with a diverse patient population that includes ethnic minorities, immigrants, and members of the LGBTQ+ community. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A valid, unrestricted license as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Florida.

• A strong foundation in mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment modalities, and cultural competency in therapeutic practices.

• Experience in providing individual and group therapy employing inclusive practices tailored to meet varied client needs.

• Demonstrated crisis intervention skills and the ability to manage high-stress situations calmly.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities, critical for connecting with diverse individuals.

• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems and adeptness in various computer applications.
