Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and screenings of clients to evaluate their mental health conditions and develop evidence-based treatment plans tailored to their specific needs.
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, employing techniques grounded in best practices and evidence-based methodologies.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and case managers, to ensure comprehensive client care.
• Provide psychoeducation and support to clients' families, helping them understand and participate in the therapeutic process.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential client records in accordance with ethical guidelines and regulatory standards.
• Stay informed about the latest research and trends in marriage and family therapy to continuously enhance the quality of care provided.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an LMFT, you will primarily serve diverse individuals and families seeking assistance with relationship challenges, communication issues, and mental health concerns. Our clients may come from various backgrounds, experiencing difficulties such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and familial discord. Your role is instrumental in guiding them toward healthier dynamics and fulfilling relationships.

Qualifications

• A current and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to establish trusting therapeutic relationships with clients.
• Demonstrated empathy and a nonjudgmental attitude toward clients' experiences and struggles.
• Effective organizational and time-management skills to navigate administrative tasks and deliver high-quality care efficiently.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working with diverse populations and a wide range of presenting problems is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of various therapeutic modalities and techniques, including but not limited to cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), family systems therapy, and solution-focused therapy.
• Experience in working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and participating in case consultations and client care meetings.
