We are hiring a Healthcare Business Development Manager to drive new growth and expand our customer base within the healthcare and life science industries. Responsibilities Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities across healthcare and life science industries. Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to closing. Develop a schedule to contact potential customers, using leads from the marketing team, business directories, and trade journals. Customize presentations and product demonstrations based on customer needs and industry, highlighting key features and benefits. Prepare proposals with pricing, credit terms, and delivery schedules; draft sales contracts; obtain credit approval for new accounts; and submit orders to the appropriate teams. Keep management informed through regular reports on activities, results, and territory analysis; meet with managers to discuss accounts and projects. Monitor market conditions, stay informed about competitors' pricing, products, and marketing strategies, and provide feedback to management on competitive developments. Maintain customer relationships, resolve issues and complaints, investigate problems, and develop solutions. Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending workshops and reviewing publications. Protect confidential company information. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree preferred from a four‑year college or university, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Industry experience and related product knowledge essential. Negotiating and selling skills with a proven record of achieving or exceeding assigned sales goals. Excellent presentation, public speaking, and negotiation skills. Preferred Qualifications Prior experience with SAP order entry software. 3+ years selling medical, specialty, or industrial gases and equipment to independent distributors and customers within an industrial or specialty gas producer environment. Benefits Base pay plus $75-85k salary and commission. Monthly auto allowance; travel within assigned territory, limited overnight stays.
