Key Responsibilities\n

• Collaborate with the Utilization Review and Business Departments to ensure authorization for services and manage billing processes efficiently.

• Engage with referral sources and outpatient providers to maintain continuity of care for clients throughout their treatment journey, ensuring discharge appointments are confirmed and resources are communicated effectively.
\n
• Initiate discharge planning on the day of admission and provide thorough discharge sessions to ensure clients understand their coping strategies and transition plans.
\n
• Manage crises effectively during sessions, offering support to ancillary staff in dealing with patient interactions and reinforcing the overall quality of care.
\n
• Complete clinical documentation in a timely manner, directly at the point of service, adhering to regulatory standards and organizational policies.
\n
• Establish therapeutic rapport with clients and their families, conducting assessments for suicidality and potential dangers to ensure safety throughout treatment.
\n
• Facilitate the admission process for new clients with professionalism, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere that encourages openness and trust.
\n
• Actively participate in weekly treatment team meetings to communicate and develop shared treatment goals among all clinical staff.
\n
• Provide utilization reviews to insurance companies, ensuring that clinical information is presented effectively for initial and continued authorizations.

• Maintain responsiveness to family inquiries, committing to return calls and emails within two hours during business hours and twenty-four hours outside of standard hours.

Qualifications\n

• An independent licensure in the state of Oregon as an LCSW, LMFT, or LPC.

• Proficiency in utilizing electronic medical records systems for efficient documentation and case management.

• Excellent communication skills, particularly in electronic formats such as email, to facilitate clear and effective communication with clients and team members.

• Demonstrated ability to handle a substantial caseload and work collaboratively with various healthcare providers and support staff.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this full-time position ranges from USD 50,000 to 70,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
